Competitive Computational Combat
A downloadable prototype
Competitive Computational Combat is a 2D, turn-based strategy, grid-based battle simulation prototype. I wanted to make a game where not only the movement was based on the grid, but the different weapons and attacks were based on the grid as well.
For example, the Bat weapon can knock back enemies. If the enemies hit a wall or another person, they take additional damage. The Trident weapon is not only a weapon but a movement supplement; allowing the user to lunge a few spaces in a specified direction.
The controls can be shown in-game by pressing the Escape key.
Also, sorry for the insulting end-game screens haha. I originally intended to not publish this online. I thought they were funny at the time as they were aimed at myself.
